Elder sister Threatening to kill older sister

I have a female friend who is saying that her elder sister frequently threatening to kill my friend. My friend is uneducated. And her sister and sisters daughter threatening to kill. Her sister said that her son in law is part of drug mafia and every police takes bribe from them, so there will be no arrest or complaint against them. As she said when my friend tried to file a complaint, no one responded her. My friend is scared to death. How to help her.

hi if the police are not taking any steps to register the complaint and FIR despite requesting then you could file a private complaint before the magistrate to direct the polilce to register the FIR and do investigation

when a police or officeer didn't respond to her complaint, she can report the same to the higher officers. no culprit can escape from the clutches of law as he is having influence or anything else. suggest your friend to be brave and make complaint to the authorities about the threatenings by her elder sister. If no proper action initiated by the police against her elder sister and her relatives, then suggest your friend to approach a good advocate in your locality and get file a private case in court and also to get rid off from other issues if any.
