hi if two FIRs are registered with the same number and different names then you could file quash petition but need to see the allegations mentioned in the chargesheet or same not and that you are not connected to the allegations mentioned in the chargesheet

this is illegal, but Fir may have more than one, but on same number, definitely suspociois. without seeing actual fir and facts of the case, very difficult to advice. .moreover in ipc 420 cases, different complainants may file on same person, but have diffetent FiR numbers and clubbed as one. in your case, i have to see documents, snd we have to file appripriate case at High court
