You can file a writ petition in the concerned high court detailing how this matter is lingering on and how it is curtailing your fundamental right under Article 21. For sure you will receive directions for faster disposal of your case

The best remedy in such circumstances are approaching the High court under 482 crpc seeking the Directions to the Magistrate for early disposal of the case or in the alternative you can also seek the quashing of the proceedings before the trial court if you can establish that the trial will eventually lead to the acquital and no fruitful purpose will be served if the proceedings are continued.

if the chargesheet has been filed then it is much better to employ the services of an advocate who can proceed to expedite the case and bring it to the conclusion directly. It is advised that disposal is not possible if you are the accused and in any case the state has to give the presentation at the earliest if the opposite counsel asks for it

We can first seek discharge application for discharging you from the criminal case, however, if no relief is granted by the Court then we can prefer a quashing petition before the Hon’ble High Court for quashing of the case
