Compromise done for a fraud case now complainants are not agreeing

19-Feb-2023 (In Criminal Law)
My parents were falsely accused of taking money from 5 ladies, these ladies were actually playing chit fund of small amount with my mom. They took their money but still filed a case against my father that he took money to get them a job, which he didn’t.Police even after knowing truth registered the case and kept asking for money to cancel the case when my parents denied to bribe they arrested my mother without warrant and forced my father to give some money and compromise, since my father was alone he agreed and paid some money and got the compromise letter signed to get my mother bailed out. Now the complainants are not Turning up in court to give statement to get the case cancelled. Looking at others getting free money some people again tried to file similar case to which the DSP cancelled the FIR. My parents are old they have not taken a penny from these people and they are being forced to sell his house to get the case cancelled we don’t know what to do. We are not getting help

Once the case is settled then can not be revived again. Doing so is punishable under the law.
Police is not authorised to arrest any person without reason.

Kindly share all details for the better assistance.

in that case first question is whether chit fund was registered or not, if not then is there any sort of register you use to maintain where details of fund , disbursal record's were maintained. if not then can you track money disbursal to whom and how.
