Complaint against partner for cheating not refunding invested money.

I blindly trusted one company & did MHRDC construction of Toilet Project in Govt. Schools. I was not make any leagal agreement in this company. We have invested our25 Lakh in this project after sucessfully complition of this project this company cheated us not even ready to give money which we have invested. Need Help
We can file a case of 420 but before which u need to provide ne with any documetns which proves that u were actively involved in this company n u invested the money by giving any cheque or bank transaction or cash in presence of witness
