CHARGES OF RAPE, MENTAL, EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL ABUSE

I am a 26 yrs old orphan girl. Post expiry of my mother in Sep 2016 my childhood friend who is also an Air Force officer took good care of me when I was totally unaware of his intentions. He kept pushing the fact that he is genuinely looking forward to marry me as he respects me for how independent I am and kept on visiting my home. Post getting sex he started making distance over the period when he was in his posted stations. He even being busy in parties always used to show me that he is at work. He asked me to wait till 2019 when he talks to his parents and when 2019 came he made it evident that he's never going to keep his words and started doing emotional and physical violence with all the abuses and he tried to even kill me. He later showed himself guilty and I again gave him a chance but now this is beyond my control. He abuses me and my parents which causes mental stress. He believes being a govt officer nothing can happen to him so he never feel guilty, Please help me.

Since your consent was based upon fraudulent and misconceived assurance of marriage by the aforesaid person, it means that the physical relationship was not established by you by free consent, hence, that act amounts to rape. Apart from this, elimination threats given by him is also a cognizable offense. You are advised to lodge an FIR aginst him by narrating the entire facts, especially the fact that sexual relations were developed under bonafide belief of marriage by you.
