Caught drinking in public place what fine and punishment

See if u were caught drinking then nothing happens but if you were doing hungama and all then its 5000 fine and 24 hours jail....in normal circumstances nothibg happens after paying sone penalty...thats only...

There are so many confusion in our society. ..but this a measure problem in our society. and 10000 rupes.with punishment according to judge...means this fine and punishment decide by the judge.

You will be booked/arrested under local Excise Act and be presented before local Magistrate who will relieve you upon a nominal fine with promise of good conduct in future. The fine amounts keep changing but in this case would be nominal since you are not caught in drunk driving.

Sir it's a offence under excise act.. It's a bailable offence .. Simple fine is generally imposed by the court.. You will be granted bail with one surety.. A bailee is required who can provide a surety in your name

You must have been charged under excise act. You need to secure the bail if you have been arrested or case has been registered against you. After confessing the crime in court you may be exonerated by paying small amount of fine.
