Case Details- Husband ran away to US 3 yrs back, CS submitted against other accussed in 498A, 420, IT Act. Another FIR for Defamation but no action yet. After that mediation done in court, husband didnt follow the mediation and created roadblock in divorce proceedings, got the divorce on Merit. Husband's and his family approached high court for quashing the CD during divorce proceeding, even high court ordered to file their acceptance in divorce case but he didnt. Now Divorce done, 482 pending in high court. Husband still trying to defame and threaten, he is in US so no fear. Q - How can we go for contempt of court against husband & family for not following mediation and high court order? Can we do this in 482 case in high court. How to stop husband to do defamation?. Also looking for some good and influential lawyer in allahabad highcourt.
contempt of court can only be filed when their is proved non compliance of court's order and if their is some order of court which is not followed you can file for fresh case of civil contempt against your husband in high court. file a case under section 499 of ipc for proved defamation demand a big amount example 50 lakh or more.

Dear client, Its quite lengthy to elaborate here properly but anyways I'll try to give some advice as per 482 Cr.P.C. is concern which is still pending before High Court and Mediation order has been passed by the Court in that situation that Mediation will fail after a certain point of time then that report will play to vacate that proceeding stay.
