Can we file a case from outside india for a Threatening, Harassment , physical assault while in india by a group of people. we have their contact information and evidences

You can send registered post to police station and also you can file through online what ever complain you can do and also attach the evidence and they will help you out I’d they are not helping then you can send mail and post to DCP they will file FIR and taking action on them only if u have evidence, further any info approach us we will help you

the question is physical assault in India then what were you doing why you didn't registered a case against them in India when you were in India.?.....I can say yes and no for filing such case it entirely depends on the nature of the case....

Yes. However, the maintainability of the case depends on the complaint details. You can also get the complaint given through email and subsequently file private complaint. The complaint should be addressed to the station house officer through email and the same must be forwarded to the Asst. Commissioner of Police, Deputy Commissioner of Police and Commissioner of Police.
