Can I be charged if my girlfriend commits suicide

Hello sir/ma'am .I am 24 ( M ) . I’ve been in a relationship with a girl who is under a lot of emotional pressure from her family. Her parents don't allow her to do a job .She keeps talking about suicide . She has earlier tried to do self harm . I always try to stop her request her that there are other options as well . I just have her sister's phone no. I’m worried that if something happen her family might try to blame me because they may not know full story . What can I do in this situation.

Do seek a detailed legal Consultation from an Advocate. Brief him provide brief synopsis of your issue and take precautionary measures as per law. Do get an intallah peshbandi application drafted and filed through a lawyer as a precaution against FALSE implication

bhai in this situation apart from your frndship with her you have to protect your self first....just give a intimation or small complain in police station and be safe from any tragedy....many other ways are also keep recording and chats with you...contact us for free legal advice

The best way to keep yourself safe while continuing to keep helping her is : 1. Whenever she talks about such extreme steps console her and advise not to take it. 2. Have her consult a psychiatrist and take her to counselling that will be a strong proof to prove your innocence. 3. Never ever tell her that suicide is a option even jokingly. 4. If you still feel that things aren't resolving hire a lawyer and have him talk to her parents. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.
