We have a younger brother who is involved in certain illegal activities, due to which police comes regularly to our house and harass us. We are 3 brother and mother. What action can we take so that only the brother is responsible for his actions and police don't harass us?

Make a complaint to police and disclose them you don't have any relationship with your brother...if still police cops comes then legal course of action will be taken ...criminal complaint will be filed or other recourse

What kind of illegal activities? If your brother is trying to avoid his arrest, police are creating pressure to the family so that the accused will be arrested soon. If your family is really has no involvement, you can mark the complaint against the Investigating officer to the SHO concerned as well as to the DCP concerned. Revert me , All the best.

You can meet the ACP and give him a written complaint. Also, get a written statement published disssociating yourself from his illegal activities and his transactions. But its strongly suggested that you talk to a lawyer regarding this.

It is sad to know what you are going through.
I will advise you to disown your brother, who I presume is a major.
Your mother and all brothers have to legally disown this person by filing affidavits in Court.
You have to also get the same published in newspaper.
Once you have done that, you can inform your brother to leave the house.
Same information to be given to police.

If police still harasses you, you have an option to seek further legal remedy against them
