Bombay Police Act Sec 112 conviction

30-Sep-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Is Bombay Police Act 112 is criminal offence? I have been convicted for a Bombay Police Act 112 seven years ago and I don’t know if it’s a criminal offence or nor should I declare this while applying for job? And do I have any issue in getting a job? Also, is there any way I can get this FIr record removed from my history?

Under Section 112 of the said Act, it is required that the offender must have used an abusive or insulting or threatening words or indulged in such behaviour with intent to provoke breach of public moreover it is a non cognizable offence. So ,you do not need to worry, you will face no issues in getting a job .
