Bail under 354D and 509 IPC in Saket Court

15-Feb-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I was booked under 354D and 509 IPC. I was arrested by the police and then released on bail. I got a notice by court for Trail. On the first hearing the Magistrate asked to file bail application. I hired a lawyer who filed Form No. 45 with an application that I am medically unfit. The Magistrate gave a date and ordered something 10,000 as bond. What is this 10,000 and what is the procedure for bail. Do I need two persons for bail? My lawyer asked me that on next hearing ki need an RC ofba bike or a Fixed Deposit of Rs 10,000 etc for bail and the person in whose name RC or Fixed Deposit is there should be present along with me in court. Is it true?

You have to fill out a form called bail bond and it has all the details which need to be filled such as the accused name and details of the person who is giving bail on behalf of the concerned. The court will accept it provided it is filled properly and then it will be taken on record.

Dear Client Bare perusal of your query suggests that you are referring to what is called a bail bond, the magistrate must have granted you bail (regular) on 10k surety bonds. So on the NDOH, you must be present along with the sureties (2) with 10k or higher amounts as surety. the orders will be passed accordingly. feel free to get in touch for further discussions.
