action against abusive relationship and harassment issue

I was in a 1.5 year relationship where the boyfriend abused me physically and mentally. Now I asked him to delete my nude pics that he had but he’s saying that he can’t do it now and he can’t assure me that there will be no pic of me on his phone. This person was so violent against me I can not stand the fact that he still has my pictures. He also cheated on me twice, I am in mental trauma.

It is a serious offence and a little homework from your side by way of going to the office of senior lady officers may invite problems to him. He may be arrested immediately and threaten to issue FIR against him thus entire drama created by him may be come to an end forever.

You can file a complaint against this person at your local police station where the police will lodge an FIR against him and start investigation and will also seize the said device where the images are stored. If the police deny or refuse to take the complaint, you can file an Application u/sec 156(3) where you can obtain an order from the LD. Court where the LD. Court will direct your local Police station to lodge an FIR and start an investigation.
