This is a serious criminal matter. Allegation under rape law can lead to arrest, custody, and long trial if not handled correctly from the very beginning. The fact that you both were in a relationship for one year does not automatically decide the case. Court mainly examines consent, circumstances, communication, and evidence. What should be done immediately: Do not panic and do not contact or threaten the woman in any manner. Any wrong step can worsen your situation. Preserve all evidence of your relationship such as chats, call records, photos, travel proofs, hotel records, financial transactions, and anything showing mutual consent. Check whether FIR has been registered. If yes, urgent legal protection such as anticipatory bail may be required. Prepare your defence carefully. In many such cases, contradictions, delay, and conduct of parties become crucial before court. Never give any statement to police without proper legal guidance. Each case depends on facts, and one mistake at the early stage can cause long-term damage. If you want, you may share complete facts privately for proper legal guidance on protection, bail, and defence strategy. Adv. Vaibhav Sangam Mishra High Court, Uttar Pradesh

Consensual physical relations between adults do not amount to rape merely because the relationship later turns sour. A false promise of marriage must be shown from the very beginning to attract criminal liability. Immediate steps include applying for anticipatory bail,

Alright, Now you should rush to highcourt seeking quashing of FIR and mere reading of your query I can assure you that there are high chances of relief to you i.e. quashing of FIR which means case will be dismissed. Provide more information to further process and don't delay in approaching highcourt as it would shed negative image on your side but positive for opposite party.

please collect all the evidence regarding the marriage and divorce proceedings from the concerned court then file a anticipatory bail application before the concerned district judge court. you should also take parts in investigation after obtaining bail from the court and furnish all the evidence before the police
