498A Convicted - Appeal - Anticipatory bail in High court

In the Magistrate court,convicted under 498A for 1 year.Case is in Appeal at district court and argument is given and Judgement is yet to be pronounced.Can i get anticipatory bail in High court.Please suggest. Regards, Deepak

hi
if the appellate court confirms the conviction, you may approach the high court.
at the time of pronouncement and if appellate court confirms the judgement, you should apply for bail in lower court only till filing of appeal.
once appeal is filed under high court, high court will grant bail on same terms as lower court
