Legal issue by placing Polycarbonate Roofing Support on common wall

Hi, I have placed a polycarbonate roofing on our garage near to the common wall. The common wall is shared by us and our neighbor. The support bar has been welded and placed on the common wall.
I would like to know if there are any legal issues by placing this on the wall.

if it is a temporary construction then it will be ok
