Company has no records of employees, is it legal ?

Hello all I working in one small IT organization from last 2 year. My problem is the have not provide me any document regarding offer letter, joining letter etc. When some one is asking about documents or resigning. They have terminated with abused them and saying they will do the case of stolen of production. So please sir help me out how can i come out with thia problem I still working, i have only appraisal letter,i got salary in account

dear sir, you need to issue legal notice through lawyer to company saying that if they do not issue appointment letter and sign the employment agreement then we can approach the Court/Authority as per our requirement. Please contact us for more details

If the facts are as described by you, then its illegal.
You can take strict action against the said company for voilation of labour laws. But now what you wish is important.

These are intimidation tactics of small time fly by the night operators who are not professional in their approach. Your appraisal letter and salary in your account is proof enough of a employer-employee relationship and you will be safeguarded under employment/labour laws against any abuse.
