26-May-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
As we know medicines have two names one brand name and second is Generic name or salt name . I purchased a medicine name physiomer hypertonic nasal spray but chemist gave me physiomer isotonic nasal spray. When I go back to the medical store to return that medicine he is not ready to return medicine and started misbehaving with me and through the medicines from the counter and said that 'jo karna h karle me ni Lunga vapas' I recorded all the incidence...what is the hope to achieve compensation and how much ? Medicine is around 527rs...

This is the case of deficit service which comes under consumer act. Also this is the case of cheating as well. Chemists are not allowed to replace the medicine as per their own desire.

Compensation in the present case would be somewhere around 50000 or lakh. However this will make a precedent in law.
