Want to register my case in RERA when builder is not giving return

16-Jan-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I booked one shop in multistorey building in Gurgaon with assured return & I suppose to get possession in Dec 2017, but construction has stopped after few floor and builder has stopped assured return also. His phone no also is changed and he has closed his office also. What I can do now. Can I register my case in RERA or what should I do now. Please suggest. I am Hindu by religion.

Hi
Yes you can file a complaint in RERA against the builder and the action would be taken immediately as RERA decides the case generally within 6 months 9f case filing. The liability imposed upon builder is penal one

you can file a criminal complaint as well as civil complaint. in civil complaint you can file for recovery suit or in criminal complaint under section 420, that the person has done fraud, and we can take a chance to file a complaint in consumer court
