Waiting for the Possession of the Property builder asking more time?

i booked a flat in 2000. we were supposed to get the house in 2015. but the builder is asking for more time i.e 2019. now what should we do? can we take any legal action against the Builder?

Dear sir,

you should immediately take action and file a consumer complaint otherwise your claim will be barred by limitation.

Do not believe the promises of the builder, you should immediately file a consumer complaint.

Before taking any legal action against the builder you must ensure first that you have complied the terms and conditions of the builder buyer agreement particularly in terms of the payment schedule, and if your answer is in yes then taking the support of that agreement only you can very easily initiate proceedings under Consumer Protection Act as well as under Indian Pena Code to recover compensation for not handing over the possession of the said flat in time along with the expenses you would have incurred for rent etc.
