Dear Owner
Please follow the following steps
Collect the current status of your account from the UPPCL office that will show last payment and outstanding amount due on your UPPCL bill than Arrange for your bills receipt that you have already paid if online mode of payment done than copy of bank statement where the said transaction is showing if credit card than statement of credit card showing the paid transaction . Write a letter to the concerned authority in charge to do the adjustment of the same in your account ASAP. it will take approximately 1 months to reconcile your account as UPPCL things move in very slow pace so you need to be patient enough to wait for the same reconciliation to happen.
Going for a legal action against UPPCL is waste and tiring exercise.
