Poor car service. requesting for replacement

06-Feb-2024 (In Consumer Court Law)
I purchased VOLKSWAGEN VIRTUS on 1 June 2022 in Hyderabad , Telangana. There was engine start issue within 2 months. They said it was due to rat bite (which i don't agree) and they had to change a part. They took 8 months to change that part. Further what I heard that there are some issues with the cars released in the month of May/June. So i would like to proceed legally for replacing with a new car or complete cash back

The information isn't sufficient. There are many scattered dots in your statement. Within 2 months, you faced a difficulty/problem that shouldn't have occured in the first place. So have you given any notice or complaint to the showroom manager or company or anybody. They took 8 months to change the part. Was your car with them all these 8 months or was it shut down these 8 months at your residence?.Were you aware of the delay or was it procrastination.? Have you approached the authorities about this delay and your hunch about defective piece.

You have heard about the defective cars released in May/June. Is the source of information a reliable one or just a hear say evidence..?

The questions are just dots of legalities...There are many such scattered dots on financialities and technicalities.., I am asking it today now, Tomorrow the Judge/Opposite Counsel will ask these. So you have to reveal every single detail to your lawyer to help you better.
