Joined an 6months course after engineering to complete a global certificate ,the Institute charges more fees than others because of guaranteed placements. They said I will be in job before completion of course but It's been a year joined there, they just gave 1 placement opportunity from their side. Planned my career with their guarantee but they ruined a year.everytime reasons for placements delay. For last 6months I suffered a lot without job because of trusting them.
Yes you can file a case against them and seek damages. You would have to approach an advocate with all details and documents including their brochure, any advertisement, proof of payment of fees, any examination conducted, all communication between you and the institution - electronic or otherwise
