How to refund the amount given to the training institute

I planned to take a online software course from one of the institute and taken 4 classes. But later i found no material or documents providing for my course and also due to family emergency i discontinued immediately. Requested training institute and online trainer to return back my amount as its just 4 classes. I paid total of 8000/- and in that trainer has returned back 4000/-, but institute people are returning back my remaining 4K and blackmailing me to do whatever i can. Kindly help me with the solution to get back my remaining 4k amount.
See This type of transactions will depends up on mutual understanding between both the parties and clearly stating the trainer have given money back of 4k and the institute people are not. whenever you do this kind of transactions make sure you should free from any other works, even you want to get back the money you can go forward but is usually cost more than what you get. on my suggestion give a complaint in local PS regarding it.
