Filght canceled but booked airline no update it’s not rescheduled

My filght cancellation by operates airlines. My booked airlines don’t have confirmation from operated . I got cancellation update from operated airlines before 14 hours from departure time . Due no confirmation from operated they don’t book at first . Now they are saying they are waiting from confirmation then only they can book.It’s more 48 hours I am trying
hi if the airlines had cancelled the flight without having any valid reason tjen you could send them legal notice asking them to refund the amount and then if they failed to act then you could file consumer complaint
