College not returning transfer certificate & asking money for the same

I joined for degree course in Ayurvedic clg by paying 4lk but iam not interested now so planes to change course but as agreement done in college they are not agreed to give back my tc .they are saying to pay 5lk more .that is a huge amount of fee so my father can’t pay .i couldn’t continue course

Hello dear client As you get admission as per the agreement in that agreement has made any in terms of condition if you not interested is there any clause like repay the amount by the concerned college. If that clause is there you have chances to file the petition.

You can lodge a complaint with CCIM which is regulatory body of ayurveda colleges. Secondly send the college legal notice stating you will claim for damages in case they fail to give your tc within 7 days

You would need to approach the consumer forum and seek for refund of the course fee and other reliefs possible. The college is wrong in demanding the extra money from you and the same is illegal under law.
