Clothing exchange issue for top brought in sale

Hi Sir,
I brought a top in a sale from a shop and that top does have a quality issues and fitting issues now I want to exchange that top but shopkeeper is denying..pls suggest a correct action

You can file a complaint on National Consumer Helpline mobile application by submitting all the details regarding the details of purchase quality and fitting issue against the shopkeeper and ask for refund or exchange of top

You have to first check with the terms and conditions of the shop from where you have purchased the top. If it specifies that there is no refund or exchange, then you have no remedy. However, if he has no such terms and conditions, you can send a legal notice to the shopkeeper for exchanging the top or paying compensation. If not, you can file a consumer case against the shopkeeper.

Well, you can tell the Shopkeeper Bhaiyya, that, if he won't resolve your concerns, you will lodge a FIR against him under Sec 420 of the IPC,1860, for committing cheating with you by providing a top which was not fitting you.
