I can assist you with this matter. Since the vehicle was purchased from Cars24 in May 2026 and the RC transfer is still pending after approximately 4.5 months despite repeated follow-ups, we can first review your purchase documents, RC transfer/application details and communications with Cars24, and thereafter issue an appropriate legal notice and take further action before the competent authority/Consumer Commission, if required. Please share the purchase invoice, delivery documents, existing RC details, transfer application/status details and your communication with Cars24 for review.

If your RC transfer has been pending for around 4–5 months despite repeated follow-ups, you should first obtain the complete transaction/transfer record and the present status from the RTO. If the delay is attributable to the seller/platform or required documents have not been properly processed, a formal legal notice can be issued seeking completion of the RC transfer within a specified time, followed by appropriate consumer proceedings if necessary. Please send the purchase invoice, delivery documents, RC/transfer application details and correspondence with Cars24 on WhatsApp; after examining them, I can advise you on the appropriate legal action and handle the matter.

Send a formal Legal Notice demanding immediate RC transfer within 7 days, as a 4.5-month delay constitutes a clear deficiency of service. If they fail to comply or respond satisfactorily, you can file a formal complaint before the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission to seek the swift completion of the transfer alongside financial compensation for mental harassment and litigation costs.
