Booked flights through a company but have to rebook the flight

They did not give us the information that our layover via Australia will need Australian Visa . Our flight was from Banglore to Singapore. Singapore to Australia and Australia to New Zealand. We were not allowed to board from Singapore to Australia. We had to book tickets from Singapore to New Zealand then and there and had to do the same for return ticket which were also via Australia. Ended up spending around 3.5 lakhs extra. They are not responding properly to complaints. What should be the next legal step.

Issue legal notice claiming your damages. In the said notice you should mention the problem faced by you by the other side persons deficiency of service. In the said notice you claim damages and mental agony charges.
After issuance of notice if you settle your problem no issue. Other wise, please file a consumer case.
