Airline mistake : Kept in custody by German police

Hi
I had travelled by Lufthansa airlines to London in November, there was a transit through frankfurt but due to airlines fault my connecting flight got delayed. I was kept in custody by german police for 24 hrs saying that I didnt have valid schengen visa . Lufthansa is not taking responsibility. I want compensation for being held in police custody and charge sheet by German immigration police.
Hello sir, you can very well approach consumer court, but all proof you have to show, how was your connecting flight got delayed. Whereas the German police officers are acted upon their law, which is applicable to every travellers through Frankfurt lay over flights to other final destination.
