Airline delayed my luggage for a week

I was travelling to Canada from HYD via connecting flight, first flight HYD to MUMBAI airline delayed luggage and said they'd send my luggage to my Canadian home address, but later asked to collect at Canada Airport. Later when asked for compensation, they denied and offered 2k voucher. While I had significant expenses (around $315 CAD) and emotional distress, seeking legal advice for compensation from the airline.
hi if the airlines had delayed your package then you could send them legal notice for deficency of service and for delayed and could seek comprensation for harassement and if they are not paying then you could file consumer complaint in forum
