Admissibility of letter sent through Fax Machine as evidence in court

16-Jul-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
Ten years ago I had sent letter through Fax Machine and its transmission-successful confirmation receipt was received. As fax machines were using thermal papers for printing its receipts, the printed matters gets faded and unreadable as time lapse. So, I had taken Xerox copy of the receipt. I have both the copies of receipts thermal as well as Xerox copy. Thermal copy has faded and blank but Xerox copy is showing all details. Along with these receipts I have the original letter which I had sent to party. My Questions are : 1. What is the evidentiary value and admissibility of these fax documents in the court? 2. Is there any thing I want along with these documents to prove the validity?

Dear Client,
As original transmission receipt has failed out, Xerox copy will be considered as secondary evidence, and is admissible document. By the way, what you want to prove by showing that paper is the real question?

What difference will that document make? Is the matter already in court or are you planning to file it? What other additional evidence you have to prove your law point?
This all question are required to be answered before coming to any specific conclusion.
It would be advisable, to visit with all your relevant documents for proper discussion on law points.
