What will be the jurisdiction of my case?

29-Jul-2023 (In Civil Law)

I am living in Delhi and work in Noida. I transferred Rs.140000 to a man from Hyderabad for employment in Gulf country but till date he did not do so. Now, refusing to return my money. Firstly, I went to nearest police station in Delhi they refuse to lodge a complaint, then Noida police did the same. Also got no response from Cyber cell. Please suggest that should I file a case in Delhi or Hyderabad.

Dear querist, As per your question your jurisdiction can be made either delhi/noida. There is a provision in procedural code to filling the case if appropriate jurisdiction is uncertain to where should be filled complaint, so you can filled complaint in noia/ Delhi
