Structural damage due ti neighbor,s renovations

In a DDA flats, the first floor owner is making heavy structural changes due to which the neighbors apartment is having cracks appeared in multiple places. He is cutting beams and load walls and knockiing down those structures is causing th eneighbor. s house shake and has developed crackes. The owner has been told not to do but he keeps doing it. What is the remedy?

hello client as you have mentioned in your issue is really a big worry for your house in this situation this is an urgent issue nees to be taken care the best remedy is through court so tht om court orders the said house where the work is going on can be stoped as well as tye a heavy peanelty can be leveid on him along with tht your house repair cost also have to be paid by him but for tht you need move to high court

We should immediately send him a legal notice followed by filing a civil suit for mandatory and permanent injunction with specific prayer for demolition of illegal construction and make DDA a party to the suit along with the person doing such illegal construction. I have successfully obtained stay order in a similar matter from patiala house court very recently and the demolition has been done in that property. You may consult me regarding the same.

with reference to your question, you can file a case of temporary and permanent injunction and can seek immediate relief. you can also file a complaint in police station stating all the necessary situation

Hi, You should do the following - 1) Click photography of the changes 2) Write a letter to DDA and MCD informing the same to both the authorities 3) Do a police complaint regarding unauthorised construction 4) File a injunction suit
