Pollution caused by food outlet operating from residential area

I am from virdhachalam. One small unit operates in our street making snack items, packing and dispatching using country oven with ground nut husk and fire wood. 6 ovens. More smoke. Nearby few thatched houses are there. Last month due to fire from the unit one nearby house completely burnt. Owners paid money to police. Police by all means discourage house owner not to complain as they will face hazel for years. So can't get help from them. Where to complain? Unit still operates. No compensation also given.

YOU have got 3 options
1. YOU can approach GREEN TRIBUNAL in Chennai. in connection with Pollution - for relief
2. The owner of the house which was burnt due to fire has to file a complaint with the concerned Police Station, if the police
officer did not entertain complaint the victim shall sent a copy of the complaint to the Police Station by a Registered post
with ack - Card. An then when there were no action he can go to DSP/ Police Superintendent -
3. Lastly the victim and the neighbours can take up the matter with the SHRC - STATE HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION -
CHENNAI for inaction by the police and for compensation fro the burnt house.
