22-Aug-2023 (In Civil Law)
Sir i want to pil in court about that to order medical council of India to remove minimum age eligibility from mbbs entrance exam. In 21st century, i am not able to sit in exam because I Am less than 17 years old only by 5 days at the 31st December of admission year as prescribed in rule of mci. Last year Hyderabad high court also recommended central government and mci to remove minimum age eligibility of 17 years old from mbbs entrance exam.

If there is High Court's order to MCI to remove or lower the age eligibility then there is no need to file PIL. File a representation/application before MCI citing the Court's order. If they fail to do so , file Contempt application before the concerned court. But before doing all these things, pl. verify the court's order to the effect that whether the court's order is having nature of direction or suggestion.

You can file the public Interest Petition through your guardian. Becacuse a minor can file a suit through his/her guardian. High Court has an original jurisdiction in respect of filing the public Interst litigation.
