Occupying common space.Threat from goons

A co owner of a shop in a building premises which also houses my Clinic has forcefully removed my nameplate and timing details from the common area and occupied the whole common area with his advertising.When I objected he brought a goonda to threaten me.Please help

At first you have to inform the matter to the local police station and then lodge a G.D.E before the police station and then you have to file a petition u/s 144 (2) of Cr . P.C for restraining your opponent from making any illegal acts and to allow to put your name plate in the common space

Sir, prevention is better than cure you who else will understand it better than you as you are a doctor. Now coming back to your question. You need to file 2 complaint letter to your local police station and after that one F.I.R against the coowner stating the above mentioned reason. Then after that you need to file a 144 in local court and get a order where it should be mentioned that you shall not be disturbed. Job well done. MY OPINION THAT i have follow your problem, i think that you are the citizen of India, you have the constitutional right /rights to express your free movement anywhere in India, as well as at public place that is at common place nobody can establish his /her own rule / rules any common place,you have multiple option /options to move .
