Mom running chit fund, customers accusing her & claiming false amount

Hi my mother was running a chit some people haven't paid her the amount for quite a long time. She had collected their signature on blank cheque leaf and estamp. But some of her customers are claiming false amount and threatening her and targeting the whole family. We haven't enjoyed even a single penny from it. And harrasing her by saying we will get gounds and everyday there's at least 2 or 3 cops land up in my moms place or in my place (her daughter).

Just present the said cheques for collection and they will be returned back as funds insufficient and thereafter issue a legal notice to pay the cheque amount within 15 days if they fail ti to pay then file complaint under section 138 of negotiable instruments act, further for threats given to your mom and family file a police complaint if they refuse to register file complaint in court with assistance of advocate.

In case if your mom running a chit fund, then she can defiantly maintained a account or ledger book. It may be true that she might taken blank cheque for security purpose.
See first you verify the ledger of verify the receipts and confirm that is there is any problem from you side. In case if there is no problem then write a compliant to the commissioner by way of registered post. by saying the police have herrsing you and your family without any reason.
