Legal heir of ancestral property and brother share in it

If a person died. Who is legal heir, if he don't have wife or child . It is a ancestral properties. Is brother can take his share.

Brother has rights belonging to class II category. If you are the only legal heir with no one around to stake claim in the property then as per Hindu Succession Act falling under class II category, brother has rights.

if person dies and not having any wife or child then his brother sister mother father or any relative can get share in property if no one is there then govt will acquire the property if you r brother then you can get that property
