Legal action against college withholding the educational certificates

13-Jul-2023 (In Civil Law)
I'm a student of a college , which was affiliated to Karnataka State Open University at that time. Recently there had been a few issues and affiliation is cancelled, they haven't issued my provisional certificate and original degrees till now. I've tried mailing them, calling them, speaking to the chairman but was of no use. I want to apply for my higher studies but they have made my career a joke. I want to take some legal action against the college and the university, what should be my next step?

File a writ petition against the college that your certificates have been withheld by the college. There is a Madras High court judgement that certificate cannot be retained by an institution on any ground whatsoever.
