How to reduce Interim maintenance to be given to the wife

My wife has filed for divorce and asking Interim maitainence under Sec 24 HMA. How to reduce the same as she is qualified but not working. How interim maintainence is calculated from gross or net salary
Normally the court calculating 1/3 on the cross salary to wife alone. If she filed interim maintenance to the for herself and the children then the court fixed 1/2 on the cross income. The working women not eligible to get the interim maintenance.

Interim maintenance is calculated from gross salary and not net salary. 1/3rd of the gross salary may be ordered towards maintenance. has interim maintenance already ordered? If yes then you can file an Appeal in the High Court and reduce it. You will have to get evidence to show that your wife is working.
