How to get married under special marriage act

What is the best & simple procedure for special marriage act as groom his hindu (jain) & bride is muslim ? is the notice or intimation send to the family via post ya something ? What is the fees incurred for the same ?

The best way is to go through registration of marriage before the registrar the notice is not send The person going to get married. We'd to be present at the time of filing application and will get the date approx after one month The approx for registration of marriage will be around 20k

You have to be present before marriage ragistrar in his office along with 3 witnesses having relevant documents of yours as well as of your witnesses You have to fulfill form along with all the documents should be attached Notice is published on conspicuous place of office-Not send to family Nominal fees is required

you need not required to send any notice, notice will be affixed by the registrar regarding your intended marriage. before that you need to fill online form and details of all your documents and details of the witnesses etc

A form which states your intention to marry eachother is filled and submitted to the marriage officer in person by one or both the parties along with their pp size photos and two photo id proofs of each. You can then choose a date of marriage after 30 days and within 90 days from the date of submission. No intimation or correspondence is sent to the families.
