How to get legal heir certificate when husband is dead

14-May-2023 (In Civil Law)
My husband died three months back. Now the other members of our family are my father in law, my two minor daughters and me. My father in law is not giving me the necessary documents required to get legal heir certificate. Who is the legal heir by law in this case? How can I acquire the docs required by other means if he does not give me?

What is the purpose for which you require the succession certificate? You can file a petition before the court for grant of succession certificate. The legal heirs in this matter are you, your daughters and mother of your husband.
