How to deal with harassment from neighbor

I have an window AC which is releasing water in ground.. There is a pipe for the main drainage from AC but still little water is seeping to ground nearby by the body of the AC due to more humidity in Kolkata This very normal for an AC to release water from its body ( as AC body get cooled down and it condense water vapor nearby... But the majority drainage is from the drainage pipe only... And the ground floor flat person is complaining.... and there is no absolute way I cant do anything as my AC is brand new and working fine and majority drainage is through proper pipe only ( A small quantity of water is trickling from AC body in nearby ground) But that portion of ground is in between 2 house and no one use that passage This simply causing harassment to me daily.. Does the ground floor person have sufficient ground for a legal case?
Being very petty issue, you need not be worried upon the same.But be cautious about the possible damages those may cause to any one due to oozing of water from your AC.If anyone can prove damages thus caused to him or to his belongings/properties due to your negligence, you will be required to compensate the concerned person upon the direction of the competent court of law.

MY OPINION THAT i have follow your problem and i think that you have facing a problem ,that make daily harassment as well as you have facing trouble to stay at same building & upper floor in which the complainant is staying in ground floor, that you have harassed for simple reason, you as an citizen of India, have so many ways to contest with that party to established your legitimate right /rights.

If the person who resides in ground floor can faces troubles due to your AC Problem (water drainage system). Then he/she can take legal action against you.
The better advise is for you to call the Company or Shop where you purchase it and show them the problem, they can solve out the problem.
