Hai.
first f all u need to confirm the admissions and duties f builder tat were made out in the agreemenet. Before deciding to teach him a lesson make sure that u had the right stick to beat him. Consult a civil lawyer (criminal cases wont work cuz cheatin wont sustain evidence stage) n claim for damages. Took up a commissioner n ascertain the damages. The earlier the better cuz civil cases are best at the earliest. Do atatch the necessary amouny from their assets so tat they will be forced to settle the matter at the earliest
hope am upto ur query

Please file a consumer case for getting adequate damages and compensation from the builder or file a civil suit.
In civil suit, you have to pay court fee but in consumer court, court fee is nominal.

There are many legal remedies for this and now adays it has become quite common. The best solution is to issue a legal notice to rectify the same as soon as possible under their coast and if that does not work approach the consumer court and you will compensated for the same.

For the defects in the work done by the builder including defect in concreting, leakage etc are to be initiated before the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum. The defects in construction amounts to deficiency in service and hence a complaint before the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum can be initiated for compensation and damages
