eligibility for pension being second wife of husband

22-Aug-2023 (In Civil Law)
I got married and separated from my husband in 1992 just by an agreement on an unregistered five rupees stamp paper. In 2010 I got married with a Tamilnadu government employee and living together for the past 7 years. My second marriage was not registered. My first husband got married and leading a life. My second husband is a divorcée with pakka divorce order. Now my second husband is retiring from government service. Am I eligible to be nominee in his family pension? Religion Hindu

It depends in the documents supporting your second marriage viz. marriage photo, invitation, etcetera. You can be a nominee for pension. First marriage is dissolved by prescription so no worries. - -
