Dear Sir, Please understand that, you need to be sure what exactly result you want from the case. If you want damages i.e compensation you have file civil defamation suit against the accuse. Further for filing defamation suit you have to pay the court fee as per applicable. Further if you want to file defamtion case against the accuse you have to file it under 500 of ipc .i.e private complaint before juidicial magistrate. Further please keep in mind that there is a limitation period of 2 years to file case under defamation which exactly starts from the cause of action. Therefore, you need to be very clear what exactly you want from the filing of case.

you can file a defamation case civil suit in the respective District Court. For that, you have to file a draft complaint petitition stating your circumstances and annexing all your supporting documents. Defamation cases can be civil as well as criminal in nature or you can file both. I can help you if you want to file such case

First issue a legal notice through advocate and in failure to comply the conditions of legal notice proceed for the defamation case...but you should have a documentary evidence to produce before court in support of your case.
