DA on Basic not being granted to retired contractual doctors inspite

DA on basi was sanctioned by principal secretary but zonal office of my zone is not giving . Although some other zones are following orders
This is v unfortunate. Any allowance sanction is mandatory to be released unless any orders against the same are passed.

If as per the statutory terms you are entitled for the allowance then it’s your right to get the same. However if the authorities are arbitrarily not granting you the entitled DA you may proceed to the court of law. You can file a representation and if your zonal office does not gives you the DA then you can file a case against the zonal office and seek for allowance of the DA. Please make the representation so that the case can be considered from the time.
