25-Oct-2023 (In Civil Law)
Sir, I have given money to one of my relative two years ago at the time of need. The amount was transferred in his Saving Fund account. Despite requests he is not returning the money. Sir, under which section I can initiate the legal proceeding against him. Thanks,

Hello, you can file recovery suit against that relative , and there is a time limit according to limitation act so without any further delay kindly take legal action against him.

Hello,

For the query you posted, I would suggest the following.

You can initiate with criminal as well as civil action against the one whom you have paid lent money.
You may require to begin with a legal notice and then take the matter further.

I hope that answers your query.

hello
you need to send a legal notice to him asking for return of your money
or
you can file a recovery suit against him in the court
Recovery of money suits are governed under Order VII of CPC. In the absence of written agreement, a suit can be filed on the basis of a oral agreement.
